- He apparently is missing his perodic hush money check. Either he is lying now, or was lying while in court because he choose to keep quiet for the money. Nothing worse then someone who reneges on a deal. Especially if you got a huge sum of money in agreement.

- A person will use any available weapon to kill. A gun is the first choice because you don't have to get within arms length of the person you want to kill like a knife requires. If the victim is smaller, weaker, or vulnerable, you can use a knife or club on them.

- That home can't be much larger then 2500 sqft. Also, they are all about 30 years old in that area, as the article stated. It also very clearly stated that the homes are valued from $200k-$250k. For CA, those are very low priced homes. This area is way out in the sticks.
